As of 2024, the country boasts over 2,447 recycling plants, nearly tripling since 2020. This momentum is driven by a combination of rapid urbanisation, ambitious circular economy goals, government-backed policy shifts, technological investments, and expanding EPR frameworks, positioning India as a key player in the global recycling revolution.

This significant progress prepared Media Fusion and Crain Communication to introduce the Bharat Recycling Show as a platform that unites the recycling industry.
