India is undergoing a rapid transformation in its recycling landscape, marked by noteworthy investment in infrastructure and progress in policy. As of 2024, the country boasts over 2,447 recycling plants, nearly tripling since 2020. This momentum is driven by a combination of rapid urbanisation, ambitious circular economy goals, government-backed policy shifts, technological investments, and expanding EPR frameworks, positioning India as a key player in the global recycling revolution.
This significant progress prepared Media Fusion and Crain Communication to introduce the Bharat Recycling Show as a platform that unites the recycling industry. This show is designed for everyone who plays a role in the life cycle of materials: from the recyclers and technology providers to solution vendors, manufacturers, policymakers, and everyone in between.
The show and the conference focus on Ferrous Metals, Non-Ferrous Metals, Electronic Scrap), Used Batteries, End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs), Tyres, Recovered Fibre, Construction and Demolition (C&D) Waste, Wood and Textile Waste. In fact, this is a full-spectrum showcase. If it can be recycled, it’s represented here.
